Located in the heart of Surfers Paradise, Aloha Apartments is the perfect Gold Coast holiday stay. Beginning in early October, the family accommodation complex will be undergoing a full external repaint using colours from the Baxta ProColour range, commercial trend colours for specifiers.
The Body Corporate wanted the late 70’s apartment building to have more of an identity within the crowd of white towers populating Surfers Paradise, Queensland. Working with the hexagonal forms of the architecture, ProColour Ochre was boldly selected to highlight the central hexagonal tower. The remaining areas of the tower will be refreshed with Notebook, a slightly warmer white.
Hard landscaping around the building will be coated in Ground, a dark bronze/brown, to sit back behind the established tropical gardens. The process of colour selection started with matching a colour to the existing bronze balcony balustrades. From there, a harmonious neutral and highlight colour was selected.
Baxta ProColour knows the time and consideration that goes into colour selection. That’s why the navigation of our 70-colour collection is designed with the professional specifier in mind. Our ProColour flow simplifies the task of distinguishing the barely-there nuances in whites and inspires the creation of successful combinations.
This is the first high-rise to be painted in a bold colour from the ProColour range. We can’t wait to see the finished result and hope it will encourage other specifiers and their clients to select more colour for tower exteriors!
